FULL TIME MAINTENANCE PERSON/FIREFIGHTER
The Town of Garysburg is now accepting applications for the position of full-time Maintenance Person / Firefighter.
Minimum requirements:
Must be at least 18 years (18) or older.
Experience in maintenance grounds keeping, able to operate a lawn mower, weed eater and hedge trimmer.
Able to perform basic building, plumbing and equipment repairs.
Must have a valid NC Driver’s license.
Must be in good physical condition and able to do heavy lifting and bending.
Drug test and background check required.
Possess NC Firefighters Certification.
Willing to answer all fire and emergency calls during working hours and other available calls.
